Our original herd was carefully selected from several places best reflecting the phenotypes - colours, confirmation and excellence - of the ideal Suri. With this foundation of a now closed herd our strict breeding program is dedicated to creating the strongest and purest Suri Alpaca - the results of the program are very successful indeed with the new generations of cria exhibiting superb lustre and Suri characteristics.

Our integrity is as paramount as our animals. Based on the South Shore of Nova Scotia The Atlantic Seaside Farm Company is the largest Suri Alpaca farm in Atlantic Canada and has expanded threefold since its inception. A neighbouring farm has been added for additional pasture with new barns erected for the growing herd. Two years ago the farm's sister company 'The Rumour Mill' opened providing ourselves and other fibre producers with a processing facility.

With the many opinions and ideas surrounding the Alpaca industry we understand the difficulties newcomers to the industry might encounter. To this end we have tried to discern and assimilate truths and practical solutions in our Tips page and offer an added education with the seminars and clinics we host at the farm.
